Youth Group Advisor
     Adam Kohane

Greetings, all! I'm Adam Kohane, and I'm delighted to introduce myself as this year's Youth Group Advisor at Adas Emuno. I currently live in Saddle Brook, NJ, though I was raised in River Edge, not too far away.

Currently, I wear another hat as an Assistant Director at URJ Eisner Camp in scenic Great Barrington, Massachusetts. This journey spans two incredible decades, from my start as a camper to working as a counselor, songleader, and unit head. My deep-seated connection to Jewish overnight camp has profoundly shaped my identity, endowing me with invaluable experience in working with Jewish teenagers.

In 2018, I proudly graduated from New York University, where I immersed myself in the world of music business. Music is such an important part of my life, and I'm thrilled to be able to utilize that in this synagogue during various Kabbalat Shabbatot throughout the year. Beyond music, I'm an enthusiastic sports fan, always up for spirited discussions about the latest sports happenings, particularly football and soccer.

Although I am new in the role of youth group advisor, I am so excited to be able to bring some meaningful and fun experiences for the youth of this Congregation. I understand the significance of creating a space for close-knit Jewish friendships and remain devoted to bringing this vision to life.
