Dear Friends,
I had the opportunity to spend a week on the beautiful Spanish island of Mallorca.
Like the rest of Spain, it has a long, rich, but troubled, Jewish history.
I'll tell the story at our Shabbat Evening Service (7:30 PM).

We continue our discussion of the role of women in contemporary Judaism at our Shabbat Morning Torah Study (10:00AM), which often includes a sprinkling of current events (like reactions to the elections in Israel and America!).

The Adas Emuno Book Club meets via zoom on Monday (7:30 PM), discussing Allegra Goodman's well-regarded novel Kaaterskill Falls, of special interest to anyone with a connection to the Jewish Catskills.

Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Schwartz
