This Week at Adas Emuno—Welcoming 5787!

Dear Friends,
  We welcome in the New Year 5787 at our Shabbat/Rosh Hashanah Evening Service (7:30 PM) and Morning Service (10:00 AM).
   We are very aware this is also the 25th anniversary of 9-11, and will relate to that in our words and music.

   The celebration of the New Year continues with our Rosh Hashanah Children's Service (2:00 PM), and our ever-popular Tashlich gathering at Overpeck Park (3:30 PM).

   I counted up the number of members who are participating in our holiday services as readers of Torah, Haftarah, aliyot, shofar, etc., and it comes to at least 30! A big thank-you in advance to them, as well as our ushers. 

    On Sunday we begin our new school year, welcoming two new teachers and seven new students!

     On Monday, our first meeting of the new year of our Adas Emuno Book Club takes place via zoom (7:30 PM). Songs for the Broken Hearted by Ayelet Tsabari gives keen insight into the Yemenite Jewish community in Israel.
    
    Warm wishes for a good and sweet new year, and one that brings greater security and peace to our community, our country and Israel.
