Dear Friends,
   As August ends, the summer winds down, and September beckons- back to school, back to work, and, of course, the Holidays. The New Year (two weeks from tomorrow) heralds a new season, and we will soon pause to ponder the turning of time and the turning of our souls.

  By now you should have received our calendar, our card, and our holiday information. Note that the deadline for listings in our Book of Remembrance is Sept. 14. 
   If you are a senior and would like a free holiday meal from the Federation and Jewish Home, delivered to your door on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, call 201-7840-1414.

  A special thanks to our president, Marshall Jacobowitz, who will be assisting the cantor once more at this week's Shabbat Evening Service (7:30 PM).
