Dear Friends,
  A piece of legislation introduced in the Knesset last week threatens to bring down the Israeli government.
  Believe it or not, the same basic issue sparked a crisis among the Israelites in this week's portion.
  I'll address both at our Shabbat Evening Service (7:30 PM).

  A small group of German Jews revolutionized banking in America, while transforming the American Jewish community. Their remarkable story is told in The Money Kings, and I'll lead a discussion about it at our Adas Emuno Book Club on Monday (7:30 pm on Zoom-link is in the Rabbi’s email message).
