Dear Friends,
  Pride Month draws to a close, and our Reform movement encourages each congregation to designate one service in June as Pride Shabbat.
   Rabbi Max and Cantor Suzy will do so this week at our Shabbat Evening Service (7:30 PM) through music and readings.
    He will also talk about the question: Do we have free will, or are we destined to experience certain moments in this life? Our weekly Torah portion Chukat-Balak give us a chance to examine the way this theme appears in our sacred text and story.

   Looking ahead to the holiday weekend next week- kick it off by joining us on July 3 for a special Shabbat Evening-America 250 Service (6:00 PM on the patio), to be followed by light supper of grilled paninis and apple pie a la mode!.
