July 14, 2022 Dear Friends,   And now for something completely different:   Last week (July 7) was World Chocolate Day!   Even I, a confessed chocoholic did not know that...until Google alerted me.   So I got to wondering if there is any special connection between Jews and chocolate...and discovered that a whole book had been written about it!    I'll share what I know at our Shabbat Evening Service (7:30 PM).     We are sorry that the marvelous tribute service to our student cantor last week could not be livestreamed, due to internet issues beyond our control.
